In Combined Civil Services Examination–II (Interview Posts) /Group-II Services, the selection is made in three successive stages Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Oral Test. While for the Group II A services there is only a single-stage written examination.
No interview or separate Preliminary and Main examination. The syllabus for Group II and IIA services are similar while Group II has some extra topics compared to later.
