The University is popular for its B.Tech/BE and B.Arch courses. Candidates seeking admission to Anna University have to qualify national or state level entrance exams, such as, TANCET, TNEA, NATA. Anna University has 13 constituent colleges, 3 regional campuses and 593 associated colleges.
Candidates seeking admission in the BE/ B.Tech. or, B.Arch course in Anna University should be intermediate graduates with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. For admission to B.Tech/B.E the candidates need to qualify in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) entrance exam. Admission to B.Arch. programmes are based on valid NATA entrance exam scores.
Application forms for Anna University can be filled online from the official website of the University. However, for MCA, MBA, MS by Research, and PhD courses the application forms are required to be submitted to the University.
